This last has been used for decades. It is part of our history and character as England's oldest shoe manufacturer. The size (length fitting) of Tricker’s footwear made on this last (W2298) is true to size, we recommend sticking to your regular than a regular UK. The last is a hard, three-dimensional form on which the shoe is constructed. Depending on the style of shoe we use different lasts, this is what dictates the overall shape, proportion, fit and character of the shoe.

Waxy Reverse Suede

C.F Stead waxy suede is a traditional heavy weight “Hunting Suede” or reverse suede.

It offers a characteristic rough, casual suede with a completely natural full grain on the reverse, which is provided oiled and waxed to provide a high level of weather proofing.

This offers comfort and durability, and the waxed suede can be readily brushed and re-waxed to restore the original look after heavy wear.
