    The Description

Stow is Tricker’s most iconic men’s boot. Made originally as a country boot, but now worn by men all around the world across fields and cities. The Stow Derby ankle boot is instantly recognisable for its brogue patterning synonymous to Tricker’s; however its strong, solid build and seven eyelets make it as recognisable, whilst by no means flashy. A half bellows tongue is folded and attached to the boot to provide a watertight seal, with the storm welt providing an additional watertight seal between the shoe's upper and sole. Of course, featuring leather linings.

    The Leather

This edition of Ethan utilises CF Stead Snuff Kudu Leather. Kudu is a species of antelope and is indigenous to a variety of African countries. Due to their grazing habits, mainly amongst thorn trees, Kudu hide becomes scratched and scarred. These marks give the leather an inimitable character, making each pair of shoes and boots unique. People extol Kudu for their meat as well as their horns and cull them regularly for export, as well as local consumption, to the benefit of local communities. This leather is a by-product of local food industries and we only purchase it in limited amounts. We recommend using Neutral Shoe Polish and Neutral Shoe Cream to maintain Kudu Leather.
